Jim Mattingly and Rich Kelly, co-owners of LumaCorp Inc., are pleased to welcome Ian Mattingly as a new shareholder and principal of LumaCorp. This is a key step in the implementation of the organization’s succession plan. Effective March 1, 2015, Ian Mattingly assumed the title, duties and responsibilities of President of LumaCorp.

Ian, who previously served as Executive Vice President, has been employed by LumaCorp for 7 ½ years and has worked his way up the organizational ladder, beginning as an on-site property manager. Ian earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 2011 and serves as the IREM Accredited Management Organization (AMO) executive for LumaCorp.

Prior to joining LumaCorp, Ian worked as an associate real estate broker with Apartment Realty Advisors (ARA) in Denver, Colorado, from April 2005 to May 2007. From August 2001 to April 2005 Ian was employed by Phil Long Auto Dealerships in Denver, Colorado. He worked his way up from sales associate to Manager of Business Development. Ian graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, the Board of Directors of the Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation and is an alternate to the Board of Directors of the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association Assembly of Delegates.

Ian is joined by two additional newly appointed officers, Larry Orth, CPA, Vice President, Accounting, and Sherry Jordan, CPM,  Vice President, Operations. Jim Mattingly and Rich Kelly will continue to serve as corporate officers and members of LumaCorp’s Board of Directors. They are dedicated to the long-term future growth and success of the company.

LumaCorp was founded in 1984 as a Texas licensed real estate company specializing in providing property management services for apartment communities across Texas. LumaCorp currently employs 150+ people and provides property management services to 23 apartment communities with an insured value in excess of $400 MM.
