LUMA Residential is proud to champion social responsibility through LUMAcares, our dedicated initiative focused on giving back to the communities we serve. LUMAcares is about empowering communities and inspiring change. We believe in the transformative power of compassion and community impact. Our mission is to create positive change and elevate our communities by actively engaging with and supporting the communities we serve.

Supporting Local Causes:

We partner with local non-profit organizations and charities that align with our values and the needs of our residents. This could include food banks, shelters, educational programs, or environmental initiatives.

Resident Engagement:

We encourage residents to get involved in giving back through volunteer opportunities, donation drives, and fundraising events.

Employee Volunteerism:

Hosted 16 volunteer opportunities across our communities
Contributed over 300 volunteer hours through team member participation
Prepared more than 200 lbs of food
Partnered with 9 nonprofit organizations
Participated in 2 charity 5K running events
Generated over $15,000 in community impact through charitable initiatives
This year we supported: The Community Enrichment Center in Ft. Worth, Metrocrest Social Services, Loads of Love, Tarrant Area Food Bank, North Texas Food Bank, West Houston Assistance Ministries, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Entryway, and Toys for Tots.
LUMA Cares contributions to our community was highlighted on NAA’s big wall of giving at Apartmentalize in 2025.
